Empowering YOUth to Make a Difference
At 14 years old, I decided that I wanted to make a difference in my hometown and founded a now internationally-recognized nonprofit organization to improve my community. The work of Kinston Teens has shown that no matter your age, you can make a positive impact. Through this workshop, attendees—young and old—will learn valuable tips and resources to being civic change agents in their communities.

Leadership Inside and Outside the Classroom (Workshop)
Research shows that dropout rates, student achievement, and workforce readiness will improve when the voices of students are engaged in the classroom and in society. Through this workshop, students will engage in dialogue on how their can use their voice and power as a student to make meaningful differences in their school and in the world beyond.

School, Leadership & Entrepreneurship
It can be extremely hard being a community leader or entrepreneur while maintaining your social life and academics as a teenager. In this presentation, I share my tips to managing my schedule and workload, while pursuing educational opportunities that put me ahead of the game.

Using Faith to Overcome Obstacles
At 13, I was diagnosed with a potentially-fatal heart condition, and in a span of two years underwent three surgeries to correct this problem. Through this presentation, I share my testimony of how I strengthened, maintained and utilized my faith to overcome these health challenges.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Do you speak at midweek events?
A: I am a full-time college student, so this can be kind of tricky! However, don't hesitate to invite me — especially if the event serves an educational purpose that will allow me to be excused from class.

Q: What is your speaking fee?
A: I will work with your event budget as much as possible.

Q: How do we book you?
A: For speaking requests, please book me using the above form and include all of the requested information. Because of my demanding school, work and social life (I’m still a teenager!) the most efficient way for me to answer any questions or schedule events is via this form and email communication.

Q: Who comes with you to events?
A: I’m always accompanied to speaking events by at least one additional person: my mom, dad, aunt OR a member of Kinston Teens or Black Youth Network.

Q: How far do you travel to speak?
A: I've spoken at schools and events all across the country. I love to travel and spread my passion wherever I can, so I am open to any opportunities all over the world!

Q: How long do you speak?
A: I've provided impactful and engaging speeches at lengths of 5 minutes up to 45 minutes. Additionally, I've provided interactive workshops for lengths up to 2 hours (and can provide multiple sessions in one day). When booking me, please include the amount of time that you'd like me to speak.

Q: Can you serve as a panelist?
A: I would LOVE to! I truly enjoy being a part of panel discussions—especially those that relate to any of the topics mentioned on this page. Feel free to invite me to contribute to your conversation!

Q: Aren't you too young to be a motivational speaker?
A: My life is a testament to the fact that no matter your age, you can still make a difference. At just 17-years-old, I have a track record of leadership experiences and a plethora of great stories and testimonies. I enjoy sharing these experiences with crowds of all ages, but especially my peers.
